Voting is our precious right.

We have an important Bedford Town Election coming up on 3/8/2025

Polls will be open from 8AM to 6PM at the John Glenn Middle School

Additional Information:
1) If unsure, confirm that you are registered to vote in Massachusetts elections
- Visit Massachusetts Secretary of State for a dashboard of links to voter information.
- Click on Box 2 and Enter the required information
- The website will give you your registration Status
- If you will need to register (Dashboard Box 1), this must be done before 2/26/25
- Please note that dashboard Box 1 also lets you update name, address,
and party in your registration profile.

2) Check out the different positions of the candidates
- The candidate’s respective websites
- Articles in The Bedford Citizen

3) You can sign up to vote by mail by following the link at: 2025 Vote by Mail Application

4) If you will be out of town on 3/8/25, are disabled, or have a religious conflict,
you can use the traditional absentee ballot path to Vote:
- Apply for an absentee ballot in person at the Town Clerk's office before noon on 3/7/25
- Receive your Absentee Ballot, write in your choices, and return the ballot
to the Town Clerk’s office by 6 PM on 3/8/25

5) Many of us will vote on Saturday 3/8/25. This process has always been
easy and fun. We all vote at the Middle School from 8 AM to 6 PM. The line
will split into one for each of the four precincts. The pleasant staff will check
you in. You will be given an Election Day ballot and a private place to fill it
out. Next, you visit the check-out desk, put your ballot into the optical
scanner, and you will have voted! Any Voter in line by 6 PM will be allowed
to vote.
